Buddha became a leading contender for the 2002 Kentucky Derby after winning arguably the toughest Derby prep that year - the $750,000 Wood Memorial (G1). In the Wood, Buddha outdueled Medaglia d'Oro to the wire to prove best, earning a 105 Beyer.
Emcee crushed his competition winning the Forego (G1) at Saratoga by 4 ½ lengths. Having already been stakes placed, the brilliant colt is an impressive 3 for 4 at seven panels and has earned four Beyers of 107 or higher.
Always highly regarded by the late Hall of Fame trainer Bobby Frankel, First Defence handled stakes competiton at several distances before finding his niche in the seven-furlong Forego (G1) at Saratoga, brilliantly running his rivals off their feet by 6 3/4 lengths.
Graydar scored a milestone victory for Unbridled's Song, winning the 2013 Donn H. (G1) at Gulfstream wire-to-wire by a decisive 3 lengths to become his sire's 100th stakes winner and 15th Grade 1 winner. The talented 4-year-old colt earned a 109 Beyer for the performance.
Magnificent Song, a $625,000 yearling, became one of the top 3-year-old turf fillies of 2006 after capturing multiple graded stakes, including her biggest win in the $250,000 Garden City Breeders' Cup S. (G1) at Belmont.
Marylebone, a $725,000 yearling, became a Grade 1-winning 2-year-old for owner Michael Tabor, capturing the $200,000 Matron (G1) in just her second lifetime start after breaking her maiden first-time out at Saratoga.
Eclipse Champion 2-Year-Old Male Midshipman became the fastest ever winner of the $2 million Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1) in 2009, running 1 1/16 miles in a stealth 1:40.94 at Santa Anita. He would retire to stud as a multiple G1 winner and earner of over $1.5 million.
Octave proved to be one of the best fillies of her generation, winning the Adirondack S. (G2) at two before taking the Mother Goose S. (G1) & Coaching Club American Oaks (G1) at three. Sold for $4 million after her retirement, Octave was never off the board in 13 starts, including 8 G1s.
Regarded as a top miler after a narrow runner-up effort in the Met Mile, Political Force stretched his speed to 1 1/4 miles to win the $400,000 Suburban H. (G1) at Belmont. The would-be stallion earned several triple-digit Beyers in his career topped by a 108.
A $1-million 2-year-old buy for owner and former basketball star Bobby Hurley, Songandaprayer went on to be a stakes winner that season before becoming an exciting 3-year-old. His marquee win came in the prestigious Fountain of Youth S. (G1) at Gulfstream where he defeated several GSWs including City Zip.
Splendid Blended was a two-time Grade 1 winner of seven races and $742,060 in earnings. Versatile enough to win graded stakes from 7-9 furlongs, Splendid Blended won the Hollywood Starlet (G1) at two, and she went on to defeat older mares, including Island Fashion (G1), in the Vanity H. (G1) at three.
Thorn Song was a high-class miler in North America for years and possessed elite cruising speed. His most electifying wins came in the Shadwell Turf Mile (G1) at Keeneland and the Shoemaker Mile (G1) at Hollywood before retiring a millionaire.
A big, strapping filly, Unbridled Elaine gave her Breeders' Cup-winning sire his first Breeders' Cup winner after she defeated defending champion Spain in the 2001 Distaff (G1). A multiple graded stakes-winner and millionaire, Unbridled Elaine went on to become a graded stakes-producing broodmare.
Another G1 winner bred and owned by Peter Vegso, Unrivaled Belle proved to be unrivaled on the biggest stage in horse racing, powering away from champ Blind Luck to score a decisive win in the $2 million Breeders' Cup Ladies' Classic (G1) at Churchill Downs in 2010. Earlier that year, she outdueled Horse of the Year Rachel Alexandra over the same track.
Described by Hall of Fame conditioner Bob Baffert as one of the most brilliant horses he'd ever trained, three-time Grade 1 winner Zensational ran the table in the biggest California-based sprint races in the summer of his 3-year-old season. He retired as one of the top stallion prospects to enter stud in 2010.
